Rides, a truly unique Breckenridge experience.
Your evening begins with a sleigh
ride on custom-built Santa sleighs pulled by huge Belgian draft
horses wearing antique brass sleigh bells. Under crisp Colorado
skies, the horses deliver your sleigh to a recreation of an
1860's miner's camp. You'll feel as though you've gone back
in time 140 years to Breckenridge's early mining days!
As your sleigh is arriving at
the camp you will be greeted by the sounds of "rag-time"
being played on a piano made in 1895. For your meal, we serve
great steaks, barbecue chicken or baked salmon dinners complete
with hot apple pie for dessert. Much of your meal will be prepared
on an antique wood cook stove that actually came out a mining
camp in 1865.

Ride times begin at 5:00pm and 7:30pm each evening.

All our shows draw from the fascinating history of Breckenridge
in days past and are a real mix of entertainment and history.
Dinner Shows
The Mountain Man
is our longest running show, now in its' 14th season. This is
the time of the legendary mountain men who roamed the Rocky
Mountains trapping beaver for their pelts. The pelts were sent
to England to be made into top hats for fine English gentlemen.
It is an extremely audience interactive show - usually after
the first minute no one takes their eyes off this character
because they are afraid of what he's going to do! It, like all
our shows, is family oriented. There is nothing in the way of
language or content that anyone shouldn't see or hear.
The Dance Hall Girl
is about the ladies who worked in the dance halls where the
miners would come after their long shifts down in the mines.
Woven into the show are true stories from Breckenridge history
as seen through the eyes of a dance hall girl. The show is audience
interactive and usually it's the guys that aren't sure what
will happen next. It is family oriented - parents shouldn't
have any concern about language or content.
